[NOTE: Although Jennifer's schedule is booked very tightly, she does have limited availability to serve as a guest director, performer and clinician at festivals, conferences, retreats, etc. Her position as the Director of Vocal Jazz at the University of North Texas as well as traveling to perform as a soloist and with Vertical Voices means that she is often booked more than a year in advance.]

4. Basic Jazz Piano Skills For Vocalists
5. Writing And Arranging Your Own Charts (for jazz singers)
"I have always had great experiences working with Jennifer. She is always focused on how to achieve the joys of making great music. Jennifer was guest conductor of the 2002 Iowa All State Jazz Choir and I loved watching her work so passionately with these top-level students. They sang beautifully for her and they particularly appreciated her special arrangement just for them! Most of all, she is easy-going, knowledgeable and accessible to all educators looking for assistance in the vocal jazz field." The Jamey Aebersold Summer Jazz Workshop (visit http://www.summerjazzworkshops.com/about.asp for more information) is where Jennifer (and her husband, Steve) has spent one or two weeks of every summer since 1998. It is an excellent place for musicians of all ages and skill levels (literally from age 12 to 72) to come for one or two weeks to be completely immersed in jazz, particularly the art of improvisation. Every student has the opportunity to sing with an instrumental combo or rhythm section, learn more about how to listen to jazz and learn from it, study music theory, and hear fantastic jazz played and sung morning, noon and night! Jennifer is also the Director of the University of North Texas Vocal Jazz Workshop (visit https://jazz.unt.edu/vocaljazzworkshop for more information), along with Rosana Eckert, Greg Jasperse and Michael Palma. An outstanding week focused SOLELY on the vocalist's needs and roles in jazz.
